Jodie specialises in Compensation law for individuals, conducting matters for local, interstate and international clients. She has been a practicing solicitor with Stacks/Port Macquarie since 2003. Jodie’s expertise lies in handling claims arising from Motor Vehicle Accidents, and she also conducts Work Accident, Medical Negligence, Public and Occupiers Liability matters. A member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and the Law Society of NSW, Jodie is a pragmatic and efficient member of the Stacks team.

One of Jodie’s strengths is her ability to quickly address the legal issues. Her practical approach and patient explanation of each step in the legal process, results in strong client relationships. Jodie has often obtained successful verdicts for clients where liability has been disputed, such as Nominal Defendant cases where the defendant has absconded interstate, or the offending motor cycle could not be located. Her thorough preparation for each case, and her drive to achieve a just result, is valued by clients.

Growing up on a farm in Crescent Head, Jodie was involved in all aspects of the family farming business, including slashing, planting crops and feeding cattle. She involves herself in the local community through her membership to the NSW Farmers Meat and Livestock Association, and her participation in competition netball and soccer. Outside the office she is likely to be found spending time outdoors, farming, horse riding or playing sport.
